Q: What is outplacement?
A: Outplacement helps employees who are facing redundancy or redeployment which will ultimately lead to job change. Outplacement support can help your employee transition to their new role or career quickly and painlessly.
Q: Can Renovo support all levels of employees?
A: Yes. Our programmes are flexible and can be tailored to meet the exact needs of your employee whether they sit in the board room or on the factory floor.
Q: We have very little budget for outplacement – can you help?
A: There are a number of ways we can help you support your people on a very tight budget. You may be looking to save money by delivering support in house – our train the trainer facility and provision of our expert content could help. Our remote programmes also provide a very cost effective method of providing high impact support to employees.
Q: I am just looking for an online only solution – do you provide this?
A: Through Workfriend, Renovo’s online career management portal we can provide probably the most advanced online outplacement solution available today. However, we would caution using an online only solution as the results will be less dramatic than enabling your employees to have access to the benefits of coaching.
Q: Is outplacement only applicable for a large number of employees?
A: No. Renovo regularly work with just one employee from an organisation.
Q: Does outplacement work?
A: Many outplacement providers will quote their “resettlement” rates as a measure of their success – i.e. the percentage of people returning to work, education or training within a defined period of time. We believe that resettlement rates can be misleading as they are often calculated in different ways. Also , in a strong economy resettlement rates will be higher as there are more jobs around – regardless of the outplacement provider!
